While 2012/2013 will always be remembered for the best/biggest community and the time when we were all. There were a number of servers that maintained high pop and the mod devs had added all sorts of great survival mechanics and things like weapon attachment systems to the game. It’s been so long since DayZ first appeared. There was a great renaissance of vanilla mod servers in 2014-2016.
